Dessy Rutten, PhD FERSA has joined the Tilburg University as a Lecturer in the field of Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Strategic Management.
Career
Dr. Dessy Rutten is a woman in science/business/banking with robust academic background and extensive international experience, both in business as well as academic practice. She has been granted a senior fellowship by Regional Studies Association in the UK since 2011-present with a FERSA title to honour her knowledge/scientific contributions to the association.
Over the last two decades, she has done and finished different/various international assignments/projects in the areas of banking/finance, international education management, entrepreneurship, policy advicing, international and strategic marketing.
Dr Rutten is very passionate about female empowerment, specifically in economic/banking/finance literacy, business mentorship, mental-health wellbeing.
She has worked and lived in ASEAN countries and the UK, prior to her permanent settlement in the Netherlands.
